Adding the Steering Slider
The steering slider is in place now. The servo will attach to this and allow this slider to move back and forth so the wheels can turn.
Mounting the Front Wishbones
After Pack 2
Here is everything we have after Pack 2 (minus the rear wing and shock). The front lower chassis plate is included in this pack but we don’t attach the wishbones to it until the next pack.
Front Lower Wishbones
Here are some of the first suspension parts. All we do here is snap the pillow balls into the ends of the wishbones. The screw some ball end screws into the top where the pushrods will connect to later.
Main Chassis
Front Tyre #1
In pack 1, we get the front wheel and in Pack 2 we get our first tyre. This tyre is huge. I didn’t realize how large this car would be until I got this part.
Front Shock
These shocks are supposed to be filled with oil. However, I am not filling them just yet because of a small modification with a new washer in stage 26. This will prevent having to drain the shock later. So I put this one together for now and will fill it with oil when stage 26 arrives.
